Reflection: Choosing relevant frameworks
While reviewing different learning frameworks to use for this project, I settled with these five because they have the potential to work hand-in-hand with each other. The advantages that are specific to each model would hopefully fill in for the disadvantages for others, therefore creating a more holistic end product. I will dive into this in the section on this site called "Connecting Concepts".
In the meantime, I grouped them into two major groups: 1) Knowledge acquisition and 2) Transmitting this knowledge through digital means. As shown in the diagram below, the ADDIE model and Vygotsky's theory of learning are placed in the first group while the SECTIONS model and SAMR are placed together. I decided to separate Bloom's Taxonomy of Learning because it serves as an overarching method of assessment that can be used to evaluate the efficiency of the proposal mentioned above.
